Get your customers attention before the tasks of the day interfere. Cater a coffee bar at your prospective customer’s office and invite several of the staff to enjoy a coffee bar and a healthy snack.  In addition to catching your prospective customer’s attention before the work day gets in the way, you will be offering a great start to the rest of his/her day. Why wouldn’t he/she be enthusiastic about  your sales pitch?

Offer a “Before Quitting Time” Happy Hour at your office where you serve wine and cheese and a coffee and smoothie bar. Most clients are looking forward to heading home to their families at quitting time so hold this event before 4pm.  You could go to a local pub but talking over the sports crowd in the background isn’t ideal for others to focus on your message. The office is a more casual atmosphere to offer your ideas and solutions.
